Caitlyn Vinci and Amy Lindroth of the Vowls, a band that has described itself as an eclectic swamp-folk-soul-hippie band born out of the heart of Gainesville, stopped by Tune Groover Studios near downtown Gainesville to record the 26th episode of The Gargsville Radio Hour, which aired originally on WGOT LP 100.1 FM in Gainesville, Florida on August 22.

Besides talking with Gargs about their recent album, Is That the Little Dipper, and their songwriting process, Caitlyn and Amy talked about life in general while shooting the breeze with Gargs for the better part of an hour.

They also graced Tune Groover Studios by playing two of their original songs live, which can be heard on the show.

By the show’s end, the two musicians promised to return next time with the full band.
